My Michael Mangen Recount

After the Duffy Theatre we went to church and the  priest was not there. There was just a guy called Michael Mangen holding a guitar. After everyone in the school sat down he introduced himself. Then Michael sang a church song that was about Jesus and God. We learnt some songs and performed actions. Everyone learnt the new actions and songs quickly.  At the end people asked Michael questions about himself. Michael Mangan wrote nice church songs. My favourite part was the singing. I hope Michael comes to Christ the King School again as I really enjoyed singing and doing the actions with him.

Hi my name is Timnet. I have a Mum, Dad, and a little brother. I like to do arty things and enjoy writing in my spare time. The school that I go to is Christ the King School. My  teacher is Miss Paton. Me and my family are from Ethiopia. I can speak Amharic and can write in Arabic. I am passionate about writing and art. My hobbies are watching movies or YouTube. I am good at writing. I enjoy art and using my imagination in Writing. My challenges are in Maths and Inquiry. My goals this year is to be better at Maths and to ask broad questions in Inquiry. I am looking forward to getting my own Chromebook and learning on it. My Mum inspires me to work hard and to try my best. 

Room 1's Birthdays

In Room 1, May and July had the most birthdays celebrated. Four students  celebrated their birthdays during May and July. April, June and September had the same  number of people. There were 2 people celebrating their birthdays in January, February, April and September.

 October, November,  and December had zero people celebrating  their birthdays. One person celebrates their birthday in March.

Only July and May had the most birthdays celebrated.
